Status labels and refresh schedules differ by state, and a file can lag a suspension, a change of ownership, or a closure. Where a state file has no status field, a match only means the facility is listed. Where we search a copy of a state list, the result is only as current as the date shown on it. A state license, an annual registration, and Medicare certification are separate and do not substitute for one another. Always confirm on the official state finder before relying on a result.
